The PGA Championships are one of the biggest events on the global sporting calendar, featuring top talent from different countries competing on the most exciting and beautiful golf courses in the world. If you love golf, you can’t afford to miss out on this year’s line-up – and there’s no better way to enjoy the game than by flying in on a private jet from Monmouth Executive Airport.
Put These Dates in Your Calendar
The 2019 PGA Championship will take place from May 16-19 at Black Course in Bethpage State Park, Long Island, New York. It’s the first time the competition has been held here, adding an extra level of excitement to the event.
Tickets are $35 each for practice rounds and $110 each for championship rounds, while the Season Grounds Ticket Package for all events are $350 each. If you want to go for the most exclusive package, opt for the luxury Ultimate Wanamaker Club Ticket package at $2,700, inclusive of the PGA and Ryder Cup.
This public course is known as the most challenging of the five courses the park has to offer and has previously hosted the FedEx Cup playoffs. It’s also set to host the Ryder Cup in 2024. Designed by famous golf architect A.W. Tillinghast in the 1930s, the course is ranked 26th in the 100 greatest courses in history. It’s known for its benign, flat greens, elevation changes, fescue grasses, and challenging rough as well as intimidating bunkering, and is as well-conditioned as any premier private golf club. Although it’s open to the public, the Black Course is only recommended to highly skilled golfers and is well-known as one of the toughest courses in the USA as a testament to the challenges it offers.
For fans, you can rest assured of an exciting and drama-filled event set in beautiful scenery as the world’s top players battle for the championship position.
